BIOGRAPHY

Stefanos Douskos was born on March 29, 1997 in Ioannina. He started rowing at the age of 15 at the Ioannina Nautical Club and has already managed to net 6 medals at the World, European Championships and the Mediterranean Games.

In Japan it was his 2nd participation in the Olympic Games. In his Olympic debut at the age of 19 in Rio de Janeiro in 2016, Stefanos Ntouskos became an Olympian for the first time, when he finished 6th in men’s lightweight coxless four crew.

A few days after the Olympic Games in Rio Stefanos Ntouskos won the silver medal in the coxless doubles together with Giannis Petrou at the Men/Women World Championship U23, Non-Olympic Games.

In 2018, he won two medals, one at the European Championships in Brest, Belarus and another one at the Mediterranean Games. In 2019, the rower from Ioannina won the silver medal at the Sarasota U23 World Championship in the single sculls.

At the Tokyo Olympics, in the early hours of July 30, 2021, Stefanos Ntouskos won the Gold Medal, finishing 1st in the single skiff with a record time of 6: 40.45.

Stefanos Ntouskos won the Silver Medal at the European Championships in Bled, Slovenia.
