BIOGRAPHY

Maria Kyridou was born in Thessaloniki on April 26, 2001 and has won numerous distinctions at the European and World Junior Rowing Championships, as well as in the Women’s category from 2020 onwards.

With Stoiximan she lived her best moment so far and specifically in 2019, when she climbed to the top of the world at the U23 World Championship in Sarasota in the United States and won first place at the U23 European Championship in Ioannina. In 2018 she won first place at the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires.

Kyridou participated – along with Bourmpou – at the 2020 Olympics, reaching the final and eventually taking fifth place.
