BIOGRAPHY

Christina Bourmpou was born in Thessaloniki on October 21, 2001. Along with Maria Kyridou, she won four gold medals for Greece in just over four months. The last one, was the gold medal at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics.

She holds many distinctions at World and European level, the highlights of which are the first place at the U23 World Championship in Sarasota, USA and the first place at the European U23 Championship in Ioannina.

Bourmpou participated – along with Kyridou – at the 2020 Olympics, reaching the final and eventually taking fifth place.
