Within a few days, Greek sports along with the Stoiximan Tokyo Team celebrated three medals at the Olympic Games!
A Monday full of pride, joy, and high emotions. Greece gazed up and got great joy when her two children, Miltos Tentoglou and Lefteris Petrounias, and the National Water Polo Team stepped on the podium of the Olympic Games.
Miltos Tentoglou was the first to become a Gold Olympian in the long jump. The young athlete from Grevena, drove people crazy as he won the first place in his last jump (8.41 m.). Miltos conquered the top of Europe only at the age of 20 and now – at the age of 23 – he has reached the top of the world, spreading joy across the country!
This was followed by the so-called Midas of the rings, the one and only Lefteris Petrounias who won the bronze medal with a stunning effort. In a very demanding final and having already outdone himself so as to qualify to Tokyo, Lefteris once again made the Greeks proud by winning his second Olympic medal, following the Gold he had won in Rio!
Men’s National Water Polo Team made us proud winning for the first time the Silver Medal at the Olympic Games of Tokyo!
It is worth noting that both Miltos Tentoglou, Lefteris Petrounias plus the National Men’s Polo Team are members of the Stoiximan Tokyo Team which is represented at the Games by 12 athletes.
Mr. Panos Konstantopoulos, CMO of Kaizen Gaming (Stoiximan / Betano) said about this great Monday of Greek sports: “We gaze up and cheer for our athletes Lefteris Petrounias and Miltos Tentoglou who took their place on the podium at the Olympic Games! We are proud of the Gold Medal of Miltos, the Bronze Medal of Lefteris, the Silver medal of the Men’s National Water Polo Team but also of the rest of our athletes, Anna Korakaki, Vassilia Karahaliou, Christian Golomeev, Anneta Kyridou, Maria Kyridou and Christina Bourbou, who competed in the elite of sports. Supporting sport is an integral part of our philosophy and part of Brand Stoiximan’s DNA. Stoiximan stands and will continue to stand by the side of those people who, in the face of adversity, insist on conquering peaks, highlighting what they best represent: for their perseverance, for their effort in the face of adversity, for setting always higher goals and eventually for Greece. We wholeheartedly wish good luck to all our athletes who are competing in the coming days and we will be here as always to applaud their effort”.
