BIOGRAPHY

Kristian competes in the 50m freestyle in swimming. He was born in Bulgaria on July 4, 1993. He is 2.01m tall and weighs 90 kg.

In the summer of 2018, he won the silver medal in the 50m freestyle at the 2018 European Aquatics Championships and two gold medals in the Mediterranean Games in Tarragona in the 50m butterfly as well as the 50m freestyle.

In 2021 he won the bronze medal in the 50m freestyle at the European Aquatics Championships in Budapest. His biggest success was marked in 2019, when he won the silver medal in the 50m freestyle at the World Aquatics Championships in Guangzhou, South Korea with a stellar performance of 21.45 seconds.

Kristian has participated in the Olympics Games three times with 5th place in the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics being the greatest achievement so far.

At the European Championships in Belgrade, the Greek Champion won the Gold Medal in the 50 meter Freestyle, while together with his teammates he also won the Bronze Medal in the 4×100 freestyle.
