Organization Earth

The heart of green education beats at the “Center of the Earth.” Children’s thinking, emotions, and skills are nurtured in the ideal setting of an organic farm.
The “Center of the Earth” is hosted at the privately owned Pyrgos Vasilissis Vineyards estate, next to the A. Tritsis Metropolitan Park, just 5 km from the center of Athens. It has been recognized by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) as a leading initiative worldwide for connecting people with nature.
We invite students and educators to take part in our hands-on workshops.

March – June 2026

Return to Nature

On a 70-acre farm, students have the opportunity to connect directly with nature and experience rural life firsthand. The visit begins in the olive grove, where they learn how olive oil is produced and—when the season allows—take part in the harvest, experiencing one of the region’s most important traditions. Next, they meet the farm animals, create seasonal vegetable gardens, and explore composting—learning how organic waste can be transformed into valuable fertilizer.
The programme concludes with a beekeeping workshop and honey tasting. Students can observe a transparent enclosed hive full of bees and discover their fascinating world, gaining insight into their vital role in the ecosystem.
