At Karaiskakis Stadium, Stoiximan and Olympiacos F.C., in collaboration with TheHappyAct, implemented for the third time a model inclusion initiative, marking World Autism Awareness Day.
On Sunday, March 22, during the Olympiacos vs. AEL match, the Stoiximan suite was transformed into a specially designed sensory space, offering individuals on the autism spectrum a safe and calm viewing environment, away from crowds. Participants had the opportunity to interact with Christian Karembeu, captain Panagiotis Retsos, and players from the women’s team, while the presence of two children at midfield during halftime delivered a strong message of acceptance to the entire fan community.
This initiative demonstrated in practice that football can be an inclusive space without barriers, proving that in the stadium, as in life, there is a place for everyone.
