Leonidas Tsortanidis
BIOGRAPHY
Leonidas Tsortanidis is a U15 world champion in the sport of windsurfing, born in Andros on March 19, 2001.
He is the Greek champion in the Techno Plus category and is considered the future of the Greek windsurfing.
2017 was a special year for Leonidas, as he won the silver medal in the U17 category at the RSX World Youth Championship in Italy, while at the Techno293 Plus World Championship that followed in France, he finished in the 3rd place.
Leonidas’ goal is to represent Greece in the Olympic Games, in a sport in which Greece maintains a huge tradition, with high class retired athletes such as Nikos Kaklamanakis and Vyronas Kokkalanis as his predecessors.
