Christos Volikakis
BIOGRAPHY
Christos Volikakis is a world champion track cyclist. He was born on March 25th, 1988 in Volos, Greece.
His height is 1.71m and he weights 83 kg.
Christos has been distinguished several times in local and international sport events, as well as being the first Greek track cyclist to win a gold medal at the world championship. He has won numerous Greek Championship medals and has also set 9 national records (200m -9.824, 1000m-1.00.743).
Moreover, he won the World Cup at the UCI Track World Cup 2011-2012 in Astana, Kazakhstan and, five years later, he came 2nd at the UCI Track World Cup, in UK.
The Greek champion is part of Panathinaikos A.C. Cycling Team and has represented Greece at the Olympic Games of 2008, 2012 and 2016, gaining international recognition.
In November 2017, he won the silver medal at the World Cup, in Poland.
