His outstanding performance last year helped AEK regain the Greek championship, five years later.

Orbelín Pineda’s on-field brilliance and his significant contributions throughout the journey to the title, led the Stoiximan Super League audience to select the Mexican international midfielder as the Stoiximan Player of the 2022-23 season through a voting process.

A few days after the resumption of competitive activity in Greece, the midfielder received his award. 

During the match between AEK and Panachaiki for the 2nd round and just before kickoff, the Vice President of Stoiximan, Panos Konstantopoulos, attended the event in Nea Filadelfeia and handed the 27-year-old player his award. The AEK midfielder was accompanied by his wife and his two children on the field.

Pineda recorded 26 appearances in the Stoiximan Super League last year, also scoring 7 goals.

Stoiximan, for the second consecutive year, continues as the main sponsor of the Greek Super League.
